OK folks, could you all post on here once you get your copy of the book, and let us know the translation/printing you have?  That will help in creating our reading schedule.

  1. I have the Inner Sanctum edition that was translated by the Maudes. It is divided into 15 Books and some epilogues, and those are subdivided into fairly short chapters.

  2. I have War and Peace, by Leo Tolstoy, Translated by Louise and Aylmer Maude with a foreword by Clifton Fadiman. Jerrod, I think this is the same edition you have.

  3. I'm going to be reading the Anthony Briggs version. It should be arriving today. I will add more once I see how it has been divided into chapters/books.

  4. I'm reading the Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky edition. It has four volumes that are divided into 3-5 parts each plus an Epilogue divided into two parts. Each part is further subdivided into chapters. For example, Volume I, Part I has 25 chapters.

  6. And does anyone know how we can receive updates on when someone posts a comment? Maybe in our email inboxes or something.

    1. You could try this. I know they have changed things, but it might still work:

    2. I made us a closed Facebook Group. I made everyone but Bryan a member, but I am not friends with him on Facebook, so someone will have to add him or send me his email and I can send him an invite.

  7. Mine is divided the same way that Jennifer's is. Four volumes and an epilogue. Volume 1 Part 1 also has 25 chapters.

  8. I have the Constance Garnet version. It is divided into parts, then small sections. There is an epilogue and then a small group reading guide with a few questions.
